Dursley Walking Festival: Adventure Skills walk

Celebrate Dursley Walking Festival by discovering outdoor adventure skills with Discover Your Outdoors! We will explore the beautiful Cotswolds, pausing for games, activities and quizzes which will challenge your map reading, knot tying, nature knowledge and much more! You will be teamed up with other people and this day will be about learning and sharing in a fun, supportive way. 

This is for you if you:

- are looking to start getting into the outdoors

- already love the outdoors and want to learn new things

- fancy a fun morning outdoors with a difference!

Things to know:

- You don't need to be super fit or speedy but should be able to walk at least 6km/4miles over uneven footpaths including some hills and stiles.

- Come dressed for a morning outdoors with close-toed walking shoes, layers and waterproofs and a snack and drink. 

- This walk is best suited to those aged 8+. Anyone under 18 years old needs to be accompanied by an adult

- There are no facilities en route but toilets and parking are available near the start/finish at May Hill car park
